FLiT consists of Gabriella Sahlin, graphic designer, Eva Grinder, graphic designer, Victoria Lagne, interior designer and Karin Eriksson, ceramic designer, all working in Stockholm with wide international design experience. Karin Eriksson has a degree in communication and PR at Stockholm University. Having worked in PR and project management for cultural institutions and cultural events for a couple of years, Karin studied ceramic design at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London. Since year 2000 she works as a freelance designer, as well as designing and manufacturing collections for her own company. Eva Grinder studied graphic design with emphasis on typography and book design at London College of Printing. Eva has worked with fashion photography and book design for companies based in London. Two years in Amsterdam followed, with book design, exhibitions, and exhibition identities for a company within Droog Design, before starting up the Stockholm based communication agency Forward in 2004. She is currently studying for a masters degree in graphic design at Konstfack, Stockholm, and will be graduating in 2007. Victoria Lagne studied interior design at Edinburgh College of Art, Scotland, focusing on stage- and exhibition design. Since 2002, Victoria is responsible for the exhibitions and events at Rosendals Gardens, Stockholm. During the last year she has developed her knowledge of the art of exhibiting through courses at The Dramatic Institute. At present she is following a course in 'The Form of Exhibiting' at Linköping University/The National Centre of Exhibitions. In addition, Victoria has had an internship with the display technicians of The National Centre of Exhibitions. Gabriella Sahlin studied graphic design at RMI-Berghs in Stockholm, as well as Book Arts and Crafts, with emphasis on photography and book design at London College of Printing. Previous studies include academic studies at Uppsala University, Sweden and Groningen University, The Netherlands. She has worked with book design at English and Swedish publishing houses, as well as with PR and communication at several international institutions and companies. Since 2002 she is employed as Art Director for The Östgöta Theatre. |
